The biggest headline of Revolution involves Sting, who will be wrestling in the last match of his illustrious career. Sting and Darby Allin will put their AEW World Tag Team Championships on the line in a tornado tag match against the Young Bucks, who now refer to themselves as Matthew and Nicholas Jackson and are the AEW’s executive vice presidents. Sting is 28-0 in AEW. Will Sting retire as an undefeated champion or leave AEW with one blemish on his record?
All good things must come to an end. For the icon known as Sting, this year’s AEW Revolution will mark the end of his in-ring career that has spanned four decades.

The fifth annual AEW Revolution takes place this Sunday with six titles on the line, including the AEW World Championship, a farewell to an Icon and a huge debut. All the action from the Greensboro Coliseum in North Carolina.
The highly-anticipated event on March 3 will bring the legend back to the Greensboro Coliseum, the building where he famously faced Ric Flair at the first Clash of Champions in 1988, for one more match to close out an amazing run in the squared circle.
Although, before the wrestling world bids farewell to Sting and his tenure in the ring (for the second time), All Elite Wrestling has a stacked night of action in store for their fifth annual Revolution event. Considered one of the promotion’s four biggest shows of the year, the card is filled with championship bouts, intense grudge matches, and even a few dream matches featuring some of the biggest names in pro wrestling today. And with such a must-see show on the horizon, you will definitely not want to miss what Tony Khan and company have in store. When is a blockbuster three-man World Title Match not even the biggest draw on the card? When you’re saying goodbye to the legendary Sting and hello to former NJPW megastar Will Ospreay.
Sting will wrestle his final match alongside long-time friend and tag partner Darby Allin, defending their World Tag Team Championships against Executive Vice Presidents Matthew and Nicholas Jackson (or The Young Bucks for short). This has been a bitter and bloody feud and we’d expect the same from this final chapter as the newly villainous Young Bucks look to dethrone The Icon on his way out.
Elsewhere, Will Ospreay makes his debut as a full-time member of the AEW roster (he’s wrestled a few sporadic matches for the company previously), taking on fellow Don Callis Family member Konosuke Takeshita in what is sure to be a great showcase of the Aerial Assassin’s skills.

On the World Title side of things, Samoa Joe defends the men’s title in a Three Way Match with Hangman Adam Page and Swerve Strickland while Toni Storm looks to retain the women’s against former friend Deonna Purrazzo.
You can view the full card below, but other highlights include what is sure to be a very hard-hitting bout between FTR and Blackpool Combat Club and Christian Cage defending the TNT Championship against Daniel Garcia.
This is indeed the last in-ring performance of Sting’s career, initially jeopardized by an injury during his WWE tenure. Spending three years in AEW, often teaming up with Darby Allin, he’ll provide fans one final run in the ring.
At Revolution, the Icon and Allin will unite for the last time, defending the AEW World Tag Team Championship against the Young Bucks. Sting could exit as the champion, despite retiring once this match ends. Of course, Matthew and Nicholas Jackson may go over and win the belts as well, so it’s a matter of how AEW decides to conclude Sting’s illustrious career.
Samoa Joe will defend the AEW World Championship against Swerve Strickland and Hangman Adam Page. Initially set for a one-on-one, Strickland and Page’s No. 1 contenders match ended in a time-limit draw, leading Tony Khan to make it into a triple threat bout.
Sting, who turns 65 next month, will compete in the final match of his illustrious career, teaming with Darby Allin and putting the AEW World Tag Team Championships on the line against The Young Bucks.
Several other major titles will be up for grabs as well, including the AEW World Championship, the AEW Women's World Championship, the International Championship and the Continental Crown Championship.
Joe retaining and saving a title change for a time when the world championship is in the main event is probably the direction AEW will go in, but the possibility of Strickland being crowned for the first time or Page becoming a two-time champ adds a ton of intrigue to the match.
The show will go ahead at Greensboro Coliseum in North Carolina, with over 15,000 fans set to roar on their favourites during the event.As part of the card, Sting will compete in his final match alongside Darby Allin as they face The Young Bucks in a world tag team duel. Elsewhere, shock AEW world champion Samoa Joe will put his title on the line in a triple threat match against Hangman Adam Page and Swerve Strickland, with plenty more enticing showdowns on the line-up.
