This hour-long session is designed to be an interactive session with a diverse panel of contributors who have chapters in the upcoming APHA volume, Is it Race or Racism?: State of the Evidence and Tools for the Public Health Professional.
This panel will focus on: 1) strategies to help public health professionals navigate the politics of race and racism in public health, 2) how to create safe spaces for open dialogue and advocacy for policy and institutional change to focus on health equity work.
